Sylva, designed by Jones + Partners for Stiwood, is a sculptural
lounge chair that blends refined visual impact with a fully considered
circular design approach. Available with either a fully upholstered
finish or an exposed wooden backrest, Sylva adapts to hotel
lobbies, refined contract spaces, and design-forward interiors.

The chair is engineered for longevity: semi-permanent mechanical
fixings enable easy disassembly, repair, and re-upholstery without
specialized tools, allowing users to replace components rather than
entire pieces. Compact, disassembled transport and a reduced
component palette minimise material use and carbon footprint,
while locally sourced materials further reduce environmental impact.
These design choices ensure the product remains adaptable and
